I create a line of cards which are available for sale. My recent work has been mixed media, assemblage art and photography.
A section will be added in 2023. My career as an art educator extended over 30 years. I taught at all levels including college. The addition of a Masters in Special Education led me to create curriculum and lessons for "twice gifted" students. I retired from Public School Education and continued teaching at the college level. When that program ended; I contracted with Crayola leading programs for educators and as a representative at meetings or conventions.
The addition in 2023 will have many of my lessons and insights on curriculum content as well as resources.
I have created two children's books and artist journals which I will share in 2023 and have a new studio in Fox Creek.

My Medium
I use a variety of mediums, such as; photography, acrylic ,resin , ink, found object assemblage, printmaking and collage; including antique maps, architectural papers and my artist made papers. When SX-70 Polaroid time zero film was available I created a series of Polaroid manipulations which I enlarged into lovely impressionist visuals using vintage Polaroid cameras. The Polaroid manipulations were very engaging because the process was somewhat like a printmaking, drawing and a painting process rolled into about 40 minutes of process time. I like to draw the viewer of my work into an intimate conversation,sometimes leaving the dialogue open for them to contemplate on their own; like an unfinished sentence. I have always loved texture. I have enjoyed working in fibers since the 1970's whether it has been in collage, paper or woven pieces. Additionally, this transfers to my photography whether the subject is architecture or the natural world.I like to focus on texture,light and pattern.
